Why do cats always follow you to the kitchen?

Not all cats do this. But, some do if they are hungry and not getting enough nutrician. Milk is not good for them, so don't give that to her. She needs a good healthy dry cat food. And, you can only change cats food slowly by mixing them for one week, as it upsets their stomach. Make sure the food you get reads, on ingredients, first meat or chicken (not by products) and somewhere on the label, complete balanced nutrition. No dyes either. Forget the store brands. Try Nutro Max or Royal Canine. It will be worth it, as kitty will live longer and be healthier.

I guess they just want to see what you're up to, and if you're making/getting anything they might want to eat, lol! My cat, on the other hand, always needs to eat something from the kitchen whenever I go there.
Also, most cats should not drink milk since they are lactose intolerant. There is specialized "cat milk" out there, which you can buy from pet stores, but it is more of a treat.

Its funny how fast cats catch on about where the kitchen is, they really are so clever, my cat is not overly fond of milk either, I did read somewhere that once anything grows to adulthood should not drink milk, I don't know how true that is....
