Well, at least Antonella is gone!!

I demand a recount! That was just wrong. I had picked Sundance to be one of the top 3. Sanjaya has very little talent. I had also thought Sabrina would last longer. Hailey isn't all that great. I think something fishy is going on. I remember one year that there was a group of people going around trying to get people to vote for someone that wasn't that talented either I can't remember who the person was but they lasted a lot longer than they should have. I wonder if something similar is going on now.

I cannot believe it either. I am glad she is gone, but there is something funny going on. Sanjaya has no stage presence and he should have been gone. I could not believe that Simon made the comment about the volume though.

What?? Sanjaya is still in the competition? I've missed a few episodes now, and I am surprised finding out here he's still in!

For those of us who don't know, who is Antonella and who are Sanjaya and Sundance. It sounds as though you liked one that is gone but not the other other. Did Sundance leave of his/her own free will? What about Antonella? And why is it that you want Sanjaya gone?

I know that our votes are supposedly what decides but I sometimes wonder if it's rigged. They knew that there would be a big reaction if Sanjaya stayed and he did! Either that or his family is paying half of California to vote for him, ha ha!

I was talking to my sister on the phone when they announced sundance was gone and sanjaya made it we both said what!!!!!!!! we couldn't beleive it but like I told her it's a personality contest and depending on what ages r voting Sanjaya is a cute kid that's why he's there it's certainly not cause he can sing

I so totally agree with you! Antonella was not a good singer. And Sanjaya?? WHy is he still there??? I mean ok, he does have a nice voice, which he could always improve, but he is BORING, his choice of songs are totally wrong for him. I think ppl just feel bad cuz his sister didn't make it through.

It was a disappointing result show.Sanjaya is still theres as well as Haley.Hope they wont suck again next week.Im glad Antonella is gone,she isnt really that good,not up to par with the other contestant,i didnt even know why she make it as a finalist.

After last night's show, both my daughter and I predicted Sabrina and Antonella would be the two girls to go. The guys it was hard to choose from because they were all pretty bad. As for the voting, I think it is ridiculous that each person gets to vote 100 times. Of course someone with more stick-to-it-iveness is going to vote more and therefore their favourite is going to stay in whether they are meant to or not. I think it should be limited to one vote per phone line. Period. Telling people to vote, and vote often is just begging for abuse of the voting system.

I'm actually REALLY disappointed that America picked Sanjaya over Sundance. This just proves AI voters have bad taste. hah. (JK.JK) But they've just, as the judges said, lost one of the top voices this season has had, and I think they made a HUGE mistake as far as their top 12. I think Antonella is right in being booted, and the other girl, but, I liked Jarod's voice, and I LOVED Sundance! He had spunk and a really amazing voice. Antonella was too whiney, and I just didn't like the other girl. I think Jarod had a ...soothing sound to his voice. It was pleasant to listen to, but Sundance! really, really disappointed that he's gone, I think he would've made it far.

Sanjaya is there because of his looks, not that I find him attractive at all but I think all the little teenyboppers do. It is terrible. And Haley staying over Sabrina is just shocking. I mean the most memorable thing about Haley is that she is the one who stayed and Sabrina went home. Watching the show last night I could not even remember her. Its not that she is horrible, but she is not, it is more than she is forgettable, just as Simon said. It is inevitable though that there are going to be shocks in American Idol. It has happened before and it will continue to happen.

Yeah I was surprised. I too predicted Sanjaya to be out. Why? Coz he's like not even trying to sing well. He did a good job for the auditions but for now, he's taking it too easy and he's gonna regret it. I like this boy, i think he's cute and a nice kid but he's not ready for American Idol.

I agree with Simon for once....the volume must have been turned down...how could anyone with any knowledge of music possibly vote for Sanjaya? He is the least talented of any of them...Even Antonella was better than him and she was NOT a singer either...For reasons way beyond my understanding their is a large group of people voting for Sanjaya no matter what his performance level is...They lost 2 VERY good singers tonight...People that actually had a shot at making a career in the music business....It was a sad night on AI...

I am shocked at the results too. I am not so sorry to see Sundance go, but I am amazed that both Phil and Sanjaya remained in the running. I thought (hoped) that Sanjaya would definitely be out, and then I thought either Phil or Sundance would go with him. I am stunned that both Sanjaya and Phil beat out Jared!! It's wrong. But not as wrong as Haley staying and Sabrina going???? I agree with you that at least Antonella is gone, and she REALLY needed to go (although I thought that she sang better after being eliminated than she had before). I am just stunned that Sabrina is gone and we have to make it through another week of Haley! With any luck Haley and Sanjaya will be the first to go from the finals.

I was shocked too! I liked sundance. But I was really shocked about sabrina leaving! The judges were shocked too.

I also could not belive what I was hearing, sundance was a great singer, but just likeu I am glad that "barba" is gone!

I totally agree with you. I didn't think Antonella had a good voice anyways and I quite liked Sundance. As for Sanjaya, I think he has gone as far as he can go, there are other stronger singers in the bunch. Maybe they see something in him that we don't see or hear LOL
