My dear my lot friends it is a sad, joyous time for me. My husband died and is now with the Lord. He was in a motorcycle accident and died due to internal injuries that were non-opprable. I'm sad that he is gone and will miss him very much. I'm joyous because I know that he is where his heart has so longed to be. I know beyond a shadow of a doubt that I will see him again when the Lord sees fit to call me home as well.
I will not be on mylot for awhile. I'm not sure how long I will be away but plan on being back as soon as possible. I just want to say thanks to all my friends here for the information you have given me over my short time here. It will help me as I reorganize my life.
Do not ask why bad things happen to good people. Some will think it odd that I do not consider what happened to be a bad thing. He is now at peace, no more allergies, no more worries and his new life eternal is just starting. Scripture says to be absent from this body is to be present with the Lord. Dan would be the first to say what happened is the best thing that has happened in his life.
God has seen fit to surround me with loving and caring Christians from the moment the accident was happening thru now and I know He will continue to do so as I learn to live a new way.
In Gods loving care.
Grace

Thank you so much. I most definatly need the prayers. I think sometimes the Lord has finished a book and is not only starting a new chapter but a whole new book. I have an inkling of what will fill the first few chapters but as for the rest it is in God's loving hands.

As the Lord continually takes away the shadows and temporal things in our lives, He correspondingly gives us Himself as the reality and eternity. May the Lord who is our eternal portion give you more of Himself as the all-inclusive replacement. The Lord as the all-sufficient grace be with your mingled spirit!

So sorry to hear about your husband and wish you my deepest sympathy. It great to hear you say things about how happy he will be with the lord and that he is much better off with the Lord. The lord does what he thinks best for us all of the time. He knows what is right for you and hopes you will not find fault with him. It is great that you have friends that are around you to help you and give you love.

I know for a fact that my husband would not want me to be sad for him and indeed I'm not. I do not dwell on it because doing that changes nothing and only wastes time.

Wow, I am so sorry, the hardest thing is not being able to truely say good-bye to a loved one and to have the go so sudden. I am sorry and pray God may comfort you and this tragic time. I know how hard it is to loose someone close and the only thing I can suggest is never forget the good time and hold onto them tight. God called him home for a reason and you may never know why, but he must have an important role to play to be called away so sudden. God Bless and hope you and comforted by your angels at this time of need.

Thank you so much and thanks for the pic. Yes I believe God had a very good reason for taking Dan home at this time. I found over the years that his timing is always perfect even when i don't understand it.

I definately will remember the good times which was most of our married life. Very few bad memories mar that time. I miss his laughter the most for he was always laughing and joking around. That is when I could tell something was bothering him. He would be behaving himself.

If the Lord can use my situation to inspire people than I guess it is worth the pain. I often quote the scriptures that remind that all things work together for good for those who love the Lord or something like that. My thinking is not quite as sharp as it should be bt i know this too shall pass.

It is difficult and reality sets in when you walk down the cereal isle at the grocery store and see his favorite cereal. But after the tears I'm ready to face reality head on.

I am so sorry for your loss!! But I totally understand your view, my husband has talked many times about how much better and happier he will be once he gets to Heaven!! I can't imagine your pain and saddness at the loss of your husband but I am really happy that you are seeing the positive in the situation. Many blessings to you!!!

I am so sorry to hear about the loss of your husband. You sound as if you are taking it very well. You seem to hold the Lord high. As you mourn for your husband, remember that he is in a better place, and that he will always be looking down on you. The Lord will give you the strength to go on. Once again Grace, I'm sorry to hear of your loss.

Thank you. Over all I'm taking it pretty well. some days I just get tired of dealing with everything and all the paper work that needs to be done. I know it will get better as time goes on and all this paper chase gets settled.
