Have you tried palm reading???

I have heard quite a lot of those fortune telling sort of things like palm reading, tarot card reading, reading of the crystal ball, and the like... but I haven't really got into it ..well, not until 20 minutes back.. lol I have an officemate who does palm reading. And as I was listening to her reading the lines of the palm of my other colleague here, I just got interested and thought of giving it a try. lol and guess what was my first impression to it? well, she started it off with some pretty true stuffs.. like she asked me if am a jealous type of girlfriend or partner (and yeah, that's very true :P), and another thing like do I nag if I get pretty jealous and pissed off (still that's true :P), and..and..and.. obviously, I was pretty impressed with how she read the lines on my palm. there are some stuffs which she really hit right... and somehow her reading also serves as some reminders or warnings to me if I wanted not to become what she has foretold...and go create my own destiny... how about you, have you ever tried palm reading or any other sort of fortune telling? How was it? I mean, do you think there's like at least 50% of what she's telling you that's a bit true? how about if she tells you that you're being a nagger would somehow result to your husband getting some flings coz he can't stand with you anymore, would you take that as some helpful warning so to keep your future marriage from possible trouble? Personally, I guess I would.. lol do share your thoughts.. :P

yes i did i tried it 3 times in my country it is very common but i can tell you that the third time that i had my palm read it was so realistic..there is no way that anyone could have known in such details specific things that were going on my life at the time..including names that i decided it is going to be the last time i am doing this and it was. do you know that true palm reader does not tell you the future..they beliefe they can not interfer with faith

I've tried it once when I was still in college... we were just having fun with some of my friends and thought we wanted to know what's our future.. lol yeah, it was fun...but I should say it's more like only 25% realistic though... well, we are the ones making our destiny after all. they are just guides... Godbless!

Hehe, I can imagine what was going through your mind since this was the first time. Astrology and palm reading is best when kept as a guideline to life rather than the ultimatum. I believe in astrology, fate, predictions..but never take it as my reality. There was time few years ago when we went to a holy city back in my home country and there people read transcriptions on leaves passed down from ages, and this is an entire life prediction, what you will do in life, when you will get married, business issues, how many children, when parents will pass on(the age), when you will pass on(at what age)...gosh it was too much..lol We got it done for my brother and through his they told me mine too and also for my parents. My bro is only 18 and he was totally lost after hearing all this...LOL so obviously you can't expect everything to come true,it is just a guideline what you can do and what not to. We often visit our family astrologer before starting a project or something important. He is a practical guy and will tell us only what's necessary, as in if the project will do well and is it the right time to start or not.I wouldn't take it too seriously because to me sometimes how astrology and palm reading is done varies from person to person. So my advice, don't let it influence you too much:)

I've actually gone to several kinds of readings. the first time I went to a palm reading was while I was in college. This woman told me that I was going to leave school and never come back. She also said that I was going to get a boyfriend that year. Well, neither of those two things happened. I just shrugged it off and didn't go again until years later. The second time I got a reading was an angel/life force reading. Basically, this woman said that she talks to angels. She also takes an item that belongs to you and reads your lifeforce off of it. This time I was told that this guy friend I had was "the one." She then said that the two of us were going to move south together (to New Orleans maybe) and would live happily ever after. The problem was that I didn't have any romantic feelings towards this friend of mine. I just really loved him as a friend. The third time I got a tarot card reading. Now this woman was amazing. She went over time in my 15 min appointment because she got excited about all the things she saw for me. She also made me feel really comfortable and since I was having a really hard time in my life, she took the time to tell me that everything was going to be okay and that there were forces out there fighting for my well-being. If I just had faith in them, I would be okay. Now regardless as to whether or not this was true, she made me believe her. It felt so nice to have a total stranger take such an interest in my well-being even if she was just lying to make me feel better. I mean, regardless of if you believe this stuff or not, it was like getting 20mins of therapy for $15. Not a bad deal if you ask me. It was worth the money because when I left I just felt so optimistic. So anyway, here are all the things she told me. She said that I would meet the guy that I would eventually marry within the year. When I met him, he would be daiting someone else, but he would notice me and then in a few months break up with his girlfriend (for reasons not related to me). Then he would see me again somewhere and ask me out. She also said that he would have black hair, be the dark and handsome type, and have an office job that required a lot of finance and numbers. And the most amazing thing is that is EXACTLY what happened. I met my boyfriend (of four years now) at a party that fall. He was dating someone else, but by that spring he was single and asked me out after seeing me again at another party. I guess the trick with this stuff is to keep an open mind. Some people are way off, but most of the time they tell you good things and can give you a little hope. And then there are times when they hit the nail on the head. I haven't gone in a long time, but I think I might have to try to go again sometime soon. I forgot how much fun it can be to have your reading done.

i've tried once. my classmate in college read my plam during one of our breaks... i am not sure if i will believe on what he is saying. i'm really not a fan of palm reading or anything like that. i don't easily believe on predictions and readings of the future.

I regard these things as an interest and a diversion from trouble which gives a little hope. I don't think they are of much value, but there are a very few people who have rare gifts in these things

About thirty years ago I was very much interested in the mysterious things and studied books on astrology, palmistry etc., the best being "Cheerio's language of the hand". I would thrill everyone, specially the ladies with my palm reading. But I discovered that it is all crap. There is a little bit of everything in us. So we apply it to what the palm reader tells. If all this is true Sri Lanka can conquer the world by recruiting those with long life to the army. Then no one can fight us.

I've never gone to a professional tarot reader, but I've done a lot of research and really examined my own palm. I've noticed, based on what my hand looks like, a lot of what they say about the lines on my palm seems to be pretty true. It's shocking when something like that hits the nail on the head.

I hate something of that nature, and i will rather not make the mistake of goin into it. The main reason for this is that assumin they forcast an evil thing to happen, that thing will surely happen. before such thing happen you will have been saying it with your mouth that somebody said something will happen to me.I believe the power of the tonge.Because you have use your mouth to confess it,it will surely come to pass.I think that it is not nice,so that someone might accept anything that happen they way it is.and not showting predestine.

Hey, I have read lot of books on palm reading and can read fairly anyone's hand! What your colleague has told you is not a warning, or a prediction. She just happened to describe you in one way, and has not told you what will happen in future. Fortune telling and describing one's nature are two different things. One more thing, if your will power is strong , you change your destiny, which changes the position of your planetary movements, accordingly changes destiny in your favour! hope this helps! God Bless you!

No..I have not had my palm read..or been to a fortune teller etc. I always think about it and want to go..but in another sense I don't because I don't know what they are going to tell me. I think that I would have some of the same comments..as you...lol. I guess I would try and change if I got a bad reading....

no, i never try it and i don't want to try it... i also don't believe it... it's not that i say that they are lying or what, it's just that i only put my trust, life and faith in Jesus Christ, my Saviour... i think He is the only one who knows the best about me as i am His creation...

No, I have not. I'm actually not sure that I believe in palm reading. It can be so fake at times and so right on the money at times. I have never had it done so I can't say for sure what I believe and what I don't. Maybe someday I'll give it a shot.
