Anyone agree that it is possible to fall for someone online without ever physically having met that person? I have found myself in that situation twice now, both followed by meeting the person and developing a relationship... one for 9 years! I find myself in that situation again. We have been "chatting" and I can't deny the magnetic attraction. Anyone else have an experience like this or thoughts to share?

I think it is possible for it to happen it happened to me a few times, but then when I met the women things started to go completely different. It's really important to keep in mind that you must keep yourself safe.
Also it's easy for people to talk, but actions are a completely different story. Almost anything is possible but it's not something I'd count on. Its far better to meet someonen locally.

Thanks for the caution, I am aware that people aren't always who they seem. Funny, it is a local person though, one town over. We actually met on MySpace!

i got same experience with you and of course at first your kinda skeptical about the feelings that you have but later on you soon realize that the feelings have grown and have been a little deeper. there's a question of trust and real love of course and we can't do away with the fact that the only thing that binds you with that person is the mutual feeling that both of you had.
Trust is really important in a relationship as for now my bf and i are doing pretty darn well and still going strong even if there are trials that come our way unexpectedly and it seems you don't know what to do anymore. but as always love will prevails and thats a fact and reality if you indeed love each other.

it is possible. constant communication also develop our feelings to others. i was once experienced it, talking / conversing with him just over the phone everyday developed my feelings to him and it turned out to be mutual, when we meet personally i couldn't hold up my emotions.

I believe it is totally possible if you are both being completely honest.
But you have that internet "invisiblity" factor.
But yeah, how better to know someone than through writing?

I think it's VERY possible. The man I've been with for the last 6 years is someone I met online. We're happy and still going strong. It's just like meeting someone anywhere. You have to get to know the person and use good judgement. Just because you meet online doesn't make a relationship any less. It's just a different way to meet someone.
