What does your child love to watch?
My son is 19mths old and has loved barney since he was 7/8mths old. He also loves Tweenies, Bob the Builder, Thomas the Tank Engine, Pingu and The Wiggles.
He will sit there for hours on end watching these. I know all his DVDs off by heart at this stage.

Oh my gosh.... Where do I start? I have three kids ages 10, 4, and 3. My 10 year old stepson likes to watch shows like Suite life of Zach and Cody, Hannah Montana, and Phil of the Future. He also likes to watch some of the same shows as me at night like Dancing with the stars, American Idol, Survivor, & America's Funniest Home Videos. Now my two younest children are into much different shows than my oldest. They like to watch Mickey Mouse Clubhouse, Handy Manny, Dora the Explorer, and Diego. But thier most favorite shows are SpongeBob Square Pants, Fairly Odd Parents, and of course Lilo & Stitch (Which I like to sit down and watch as well, LOL!)
I think it is cool that at only 19 months your son will sit down and watch tv for hours. My kids didn't start watching tv like that until they were at least 2 years old. Sometimes it is nice that they like to watch tv like that. It gives us moms a chance to get some cleaning done without them bugging you for something.

Tell me about it, once he's quiet and watching the tv, i am in cleaning mode, running all over the house tidying up trying to get as much done as possible. lol

Besides thier bedtime, I think it is my second most favorite part of the day. Time to myself to get cleaning done or just sit a read a good book.

I used that watch that too when i was younger. I sat down and watch it the other day with my son and only realised, there is no actual talking or anything in it, just peguins going around laughing etc. lol

My son is two and a half yars old. And he loves watching Noddy, Pingu, Oswald and his very favourite is Mr.Bean. He can watch Mr.Bean hours together and for me I dont have any feeding problems if he watches Mr. Bean. We have Mr.Bean DVD. Also he likes Hanuman. And I too enjoy watching all these along with my son.

My son is 18 months old and he loves to watch The Backyardigans, the show is all about imagination. He also loves The Little Einsteins because of the wonderful classical music they play, he loves classical music! That is pretty much all he is interested in.

Right now my kids favorite tv show is Sesame Street so that they can watch Elmo. If my 1 yr old has troubles going to sleep I put her in the swing and put Sesame Street on and she just falls asleep to that and then I can put her in her bed. Another one that they like is the Carebear movies.

I love pingu! one of my special interests has always been languages and as a kid I watched pingu memorizing what they said, realizing that they're actually speaking some kind of language!one of my favourite episodes is the one when they sing "happy birthday to you" and they have a birthday party.
I still have nightmares because of the episode with the walrus and the walking bed though.
