I really did love being pregnant. I had such a blessed pregnancy. Aside from some nausea in the first trimester, some minor back pain in the second trimester, and some really puffy ankles in the third trimster, it was the most wonderful time in my life. I especially loved it after I began to feel Ethan kicking around. It truly was the most amazing miracle ever. What was your favorite part of your pregnancy?

Wow, I'm sorry to hear about your loss. I experienced that as well a while back. I don't like to tell people "I know how you feel" because everyone's situation is different so nobody really knows exactly how anyone feels.
And thank you (about my son's name). I saw it on a list somewhere and really liked it. Our last name is somewhat unusual so I wanted an easy first name. We never did settle on a girl name. I liked Gracie but my husband didn't care for it at all. I thought it would be clever since my name is Faith. But you know I guess it's just as well since we had a boy anyway.

Thanks. We are going to try agian soon! I love all the names you mentioned! Gracie is very cute! We love Christian Micheal for a boy. I think its so cute! At the grocery store where I use to work as a Cashier, there was this 4 year old boy, named Ethan and he use to run up to me all the time and say I MISSED YOU!!! LOL, because I Saw him everyweek, and we would chat about kindergarden and stuff, and I would talk to him mom. I always loved that name!

I hope your next pregnancy goes well for you. I had a stillborn 5 years ago, so I know how hard it is. I have had a son since then and his pregnancy went really well. I had no problems except for gestational diabeties. The birth went smoothly as I had to have a c-section. I hope for the best on your next pregnancy. Good luck!

I love being pregnant too. It a woderful feeling that cannot be explained in few words. The feeling that you get when the baby is moving inside you is simply amazing. its difficult for a laymans mind to think that how god has created us to bear children.
I too had a problem in the first trimster with morning sicknesses. It was difficult because I was working. But once when I stated to fell the baby inside me, it was really amazing. So far I havent had not faced a problem when birthing. But for my daughter (second baby) I had to stay in bed for three weeks because the baby was not gowing according to the expectancy. Both my Children were born in the 37th week

Dear Faith, I am 54 now, a male. This is the first time I am hearing about the loveliness of pregnancy from a woman, not even from my wife. I consider about pregnancy and giving birth are gifts for women only for which every women can be proud of. The responses to your discussion too are very much interesting. I liked most of them.
Btw, I love that name Ethan.. and Hi to Ethan too

I love being pregnant too! I didn't have an easy pregnancy though. I started going into preterm labor at 24 weeks. I was on bedrest for 12 weeks. They made me take a million pills a day to tide my contractions over but they didn't really help. They even admitted me for a week at 31 weeks because they couldn't get my contractions to stop. I ended up having her at 37 weeks. They induced be because my toxemia was getting bad. Then it all ended in an emergency csection. Aside from it all, I LOVED being pregnant. I love how she'd kick and move around. I loved the baby belly and how big it got. Sometimes I think I want another right now, but I'm waiting until she turns two. OH and I wanted to tell you since it wouldn't let me comment.. I LOVE your pregnancy picture you posted on this thread. Just gorgeous.

He is going to be 6 months on the 3rd. This is SO cliche, but they do grow too quickly don't they? I was putting away his old tiny outfits and was happy and sad at the same time when I found a preemie pj outfit that I bought for him since the newborn stuff seemed too big. He used to be so tiny! He wasn't a preemie though...he was 7lbs 7 oz and 18 inches. Who the heck sizes baby clothes anyway? It seems like everything is too big when they're born, and now that he's 6 months old he wears 9 month onesies and 12 month t-shirts. I guess the same goes for any clothing anywhere.

I've never been pregnant before, but I've heard a lot of women say what you have said, that pregnancy is wonderful. I have a friend who can actually go through some sort of sympathy pregnancy, for an adopted child. She's about to adopt a child of a pregnant friend, when the little girl is born, and she seems to be experiencing everything her friend is, when she experiences it. It's amazing!

Yeah I've heard of that! Although I always heard of it in reference to the father-to-be. I forgot what the term is for it. I believe it's a French word. My husband gained some weight while I was pregnant, but that's because I was sleeping all the time so I wasn't cooking healthy stuff, I just asked him to pick something up on the way home. I felt really guilty about it, but it felt so good to sleep!

Thank you! You know, I think you hit the nail on the head when you said it makes your life complete as a woman. When I was in high school thinking about college, I never knew what I wanted to study. Even while I was in college I didn't really declare a major, and I have yet to finish. College would have been great, but it didn't make sense to spend so much money when I didn't even know what I wanted to do with my life. I've had some good jobs, and was over a year into my career in HR with Cargill - a fabulous company, when I decided that I wanted to give it up and stay home with my son. Life makes sense now.

My favorite part of being pregnant was getting my way all the time, yeah I was a spoiled brat then, haha! Next will be feeling my son move inside my tummy and sometimes seeing some lumps on my tummy from his body parts.

I loved the whole part of being pregnant! I was quite lucky in the fact that I didn't have any sickness throughout the pregnancy! I did get the back pain but I've got a bad back anyway so that didn't bother me either. I had swollen ankles for one day and that was two days before I was due.
But the best part of being pregnant has to be when Louis was kicking about and I actually saw his foot shape poke out in my belly. It was like he ws trying to escape LOL!
I'd love to be pregnant again, and maybe soon I will be.

Well congratulations and good for you! a lot of women do enjoy pregnancy especially the first time. My wife had a pretty ok pregnancy the first time she or we got pregnant. We started our family late so everything was not all rosy. After the first pregnancy, we found out that my wife developed diabetes which required maintenance medications. So on our second pregnancy, the diabetologist advised us to forego oral medicines and instead have daily insulin shots as it was safer for the baby. My wife had to have insulin shots 3x a day and at bedtime daily for the rest of the pregnancy. I felt really sorry for her because she had a lot of suffering during the second pregnancy. But looking at our second child now, it was worth it.

Unfortunately I cant be pregnant.... coz Im a guy! Being pregnant is maybe one of the most wonderful, colorful and weirf 9 months on a womans life. I have been thru alot (not me) since I have been able to take care of three of my nephews from my older sister (I am the one who help her in the delivery) and also I have a daughter already. During the pregnancy of my wife it was all bliss for her and for me as well. I pampered her, gave her all of her wants. On the other hand we got pretty prep up for the D-day since I got thru alot of deliveries hehehe....
I love my wife and daughter amongst all of the world..

I loved being pregnant too, I loved feeling them move inside of me, even if they did keep me awake. I loved seeing them in the ultrasounds. I loved just sitting there talking to my baby. It has been definetely been the most special parts of my life with all of my pregnancies. I even loved labour because I knew it wouldn't be long till I met my little one.
I had a stillborn 5 years ago, the pregnancy was all I had with my daughter. I feel that I am lucky to at least had that time with her.
I have four children and I know that I am not having anymore, sometimes I feel a bit depressed knowing that I won't ever have that feeling again. I am just glad that I have been lucky enough to have been able to experience it.

I have been pregnant twice. I hated the first time, but loved the second. I wasn't ready for the first so that might be why I didn't like it. I would like to be pregnant again, but I think we are done having our own. We talk of adopting a set of twin boys in a year or two. We have two girls and now I want boys.
