What do you do in commercials/advertisment breaks?

During commercial break.. i don't like to switch channel. I often read in between... or go to the rest room.. or go to the kitchen to get anything to eat.

Well when commercials are on I normally get up and switch my laundry around or do some kind of task. I really dont watch t.v. that much except on the weekends...so that I when I get a lot of my cleaning and laundry caught up. But the commercials I have seen are varied...sometimes I wonder where they come up with this stuff! LOL Anyway Have a good week. :)

i don't watch television most of the time. but there are one or two programs i love watching per day. and during commerical breaks, i usually am texting my friends, or i go to the toilet for a quick break, or write a letter for my boyfriend or respond to discussions in mylot. my television volume, i never switch to mute and i never change channels. i just leave it the way it is.

Most of the time I leave the room. Sometimes I just read a chapter in the book that I am in the middle of. I will hit the mute button while I read till the commercials are over. I know they are necessary, but I don't need the intrusion. They never have anything that would interest me in buying anyway. It makes a good time to read the paper as well. But, I would rather commercials than have to pay for the BBC license!

I just switch to other channels. II hate commercials midway between an interesting programme but no other way to help myself

same to you, dude. mostly i switch to another channel if commercial break playing. but if i see interesting or new commercial break, i will stop for while to see it. i also use commercial break time to go to toilet :P

Sometimes I channel surf. Sometimes I'm watching a show from earlier in the day that I recorded. Sometimes I'm reading a book while I watch tv, so I'll pick up the book during commercials. Sometimes, I'll actually watch the commercials. LOL

Normally, I only take a new breath and go to the bathroom to watch my face. If the commercials is too I just change a channel or eat some dishes. But, if on those time my mood is bad I surelly switch off the tv because the tv station is too stupid.

I just scroll through the channels to see if something else worth watching is also goin' on or not

well, we switch channels or bicker over which channel to watch while commercials are on. or i go to the fridge to grab something to munch. or i go on a pee break. most of the time though, for fave shows, we just wait so we don't miss anything and we just end up talking about the show and the cast and all that.

i would simply swtich to other channels. i wouldn;t simply staying in front of the tv set and wait until the tv commercials are over . i bet that is kind of boring. and it is the businessman;s aim to lure our attention to their products in the tv commercials. which could be so nasty to sitting on my sofa and waiting for the conclusion of the tv commercials. and we are sometimes are forced to accept and see the tv commercials. why do we have to accept what we dont wanna see. why not jjust swtich to other channels as soon as the tv commercials are on?

yes I think it's good to rest your eyes for a while, also to move around a bit, i usually get up and move around, go to toilet or go to the window, pick up a magazine or whatever.. sometimes i would flip through the channels if I know of anything good that is on but normally i prefer to rest my eyes and move away from TV when commercial breaks are on.

well mostly we just mute the tv during commercial breaks and when some new commercial or intresting one come then we unmute it and my mother usually leaves the room to watch out for dinner cause she watches TV when she is cooking cause her favourite program timings is like it.

I don't watch much TV, but when I do, I'm usually on the computer, so I'll check e-mails or reply to chats or be myLotting or other such things during commercials. If I'm NOT on the computer while watching TV, I'm usually in bed. I'll usually just watch them or start daydreaming or something. Commercials are a great time to get up for a snack or whatnot, though.

i hardly go and sit infront of that Idiot box ( which i call my TV). and if i watch something, and an add comes in between i mute the vol.thats the best i can do i think.

Since I am a house frau and a mum of one darlin girl I have too many things to take care of during commercial breaks .. infact i am pleased to have such breaks where in I can quickly go and do some work and come back and watch my favourite soaps or movies ..

I try to avoid commercial if possible, switch the channel, run for toilet or go and get some snacks. We have maybe the half of the commercial brakes than in the US and maybe even shorter brakes, I'm not sure about this. Overall, I don't watch tv that much, mainly DVDs or movie channels, which doesn't who commercials at all.
