Do you have normal sleeping hours?
I don't. I can stay awake almost all night the one day, and the next be sleeping like 12 or 14 hours. I cannot normalise my sleep lately.
Also, especially when I have to get up very early, the previous night it is almost impossible for me to sleep. For instance if I have to wake up at 6:30, I can stay until 4:30 doing things and then pass one hour more in my bed trying to sleep but not being able to. When I do not have to wake, or have to wake in a normal hour, I can just fell asleep since 20:00 and keep sleeping till next day

I have normal sleeping hours but i think i sleep more than the so called normal hours.I sleep during the day also for some 1 or 2 hrs if i have nothing to do.I sleep for long at night and dont wake up early usually, but sometimes i have sleeping difficulty also.I would lie down in the bed for 1-2 hrs trying to sleep.Once i even took sleeping pills but i was almost good after that and i discontinued the medicines.

I definitly don't have normal sleep hours. Since I'm a full time freelance writer I spend sot of the night working. Since I live on the boat the night is beautiful and peacful. Let's just say I'm a night owel to the extreame messure. I love the nigh and the day for different reasons. They both have their own beauty and wonderr, so no I don't sleep much. I spend to much time enjoying life.

I'm an insomniac, so I usually don't hit the bed till like 4 or 4am. Then I'm back up again at 8.30am.
I suffer from clinical depression and so whenever I have a bad bout with that, I tend to find myself awake all night. The depression makes the insomnia worse than ever.
I do try using aromatherapy such as lavender to help me sleep and different scents to energize me during the day, and to a certain extent they do work. Some nights are worse than others, but I've learned to live with it now. It's nothing new for me any more.

I really enjoy de-regulizing my sleeping habits, but i have to recognize that this kind of things don't work too got together with studies. I point out this becaue I'm actually studying a lot and I find that they only way for me to go on like this is to get into some little regularity in terms of timings. I've also spent a lot a lot fo time of my life into caotic sleeping hours, and I always fount it interesting the way it was impacting my personality. What I find best is to shift from periods of "normal" sleeping style, to periods of irregularities. To go on too long in a way or the other causes a circle which at a certain point become passive and too compulsive

I feel the exact same way, ill be up till the late hours of the night and just be exhausted the next morning. Everyday ill tell myself i need to get to sleep early that night and then it just won't happen. Lately I can blame Mylot, but still, it is so hard to get to sleep early. I find it so hard to just normalize my sleep. I am excited for tonight though. I have the day off which means I get to sleep in.

My sleeping hours are erratic too. Sometimes, I will sleep for about 2 hours during nighttime or 6 hours the max. I used to try to catch up on some more sleep during early afternoon. But since joining mylot, my afternoon nap was replaced by surfing the net or posting here at mylot. I know lacking in sleep is not healthy. But getting a straight 8 hours of sleep is getting harder for me. I guess its because I'm doing a lot of things and keep moving around a lot too.

my sleeping time depends on the kind of work i do all day. if am very tired doing my work and it has been strenous then i may sleep by night 9:30 or 10:00 and wake up by 6:30 in the morning. but if was jus fine all day doing no work at all or when my day was just fine without any stress then i can wake up upto 1 or 2 in the morning. but one thing i can surely tell you is that whatever may be the time i may be sleeping be it 2 or 3 in the morning, i wake up before 7:30 maximum.
and in case if i have no work all the day and i sit idling i rarely choose to sleep in the afternoons. also, i belive in the fact that if a man sleeps for more than 9 hours a day, he is more prone to PARALYSIS. this is a proven scientific fact!!

I have a normal sleep. I go to bed at 11:30 at night, and get up at 6:00 in the morning, and generally have a nap at noon. I can't bread the habit. If so, I will be dull all the day.

I have a normal sleep, usually 1 to 8 hours a day. If I don't get much sleep, I'm normally feel down and feeling cranky, not to mention I also get an upset stomach.
Maybe you should try relaxing yourself at night, stay away from caffeine and try not to think much. Drinking a warm glass of milk also helps.

for me i dont consider it normal because at weekdays i have a straight sleep of 5-6 hours at daytime because i work on graveyard shift. But on weekends i can sleep at night for only 2-3 hours then eventually will woke up after that and cannot sleep until morning comes.

when i am in good health conditions, like flu or something similar largely diffuse now with this strange weather here in Europe i usually sleep for seven-eight hours per night without waking me up in the middle of the night, but this good sleeping maybe influenced by stress or too much work, i hope all of you stay less stressed and tired

I guess mine aren't normal either! I am a night owl and can stay up to 1 most nights, even though I have to wake up around 7. But then, there are days like today where work ends, I come home, and I just have to take a 3 hour nap.
I agree it's hard to go to bed when you know you hvae to get up early! I think it's because I am constantly thinking of how much I don't want to wake up early :) It's ironic really.
I know ideally everyone would go to bed every night 8 hours before they need to wake up, but I just can't do that all the time. I try to do that once or twice a week, but I just love staying up late! I think it's peaceful at night and I start to feel motivated when I should be going to bed.

Yes, everyday I sleep at 12 midnight then wake up at 5 in the morning. They say a healthy sleep should be 6 hours but I feel alright with 5 hours.
Are you stressed? Maybe you have problems affecting your sleeping. I read something about sleeping problems related to stress. I'm like that you know, when I have problems I can't sleep well.

i think it depends from person to person in regards to the sleeping habits. but if we continue to sleep at the same time daily we can actually be consistent in falling as sleep at that time daily. try that and it should probably help
Good luck

You are right to that. But, you know, it is not like I am having insomnia or something, but I find always myself busy the night. I spend all my day at work, so these hours that I can stay alone, do things for myself and so, I usually cannot organise myself to just go to sleep
