No. Humans do some stupid things. We should have the technology available to make sure humanity continues.
No one knows for sure if life exists anywhere else. What if we ARE the only intelligent(?) life.
Imagine a universe with nothing to appreciate it's beauty.

As any religious person would say, God is the judge and creator. No one else should decide ones life and no one should be creator
