Does anyone know the best way to concieve. My boyfriend and I are trying to have a baby. This will be mine and his first. I have been having difficulty mainly because my body wasn't ovulating for awhile. Well now i am and im ready to get down to business. I guess im just scared that it wont ever happen. I was trying a couple years ago with a previous boyfriend but things didn't work out the way i wanted. So it was a very good thing that i didn't end up pregnant. How ever at this point im ready to have a child and me and my boyfriend have discussed having a little one. We are both really excited and can't wait to see what happens. I'm just looking for some advise on how to concieve.

If you have consistently been trying for at least six months or longer and you have not yet conceived, then you need to get checked out by a physician to find out if there is a medical reason for the infertility. Of course, the best time to conceive is during ovulation. If you ovulate regularly, you are most fertile three days before and after ovulation. To check for ovulation, you can purchase and over-the-counter ovulating kit or buy a special thermometer which measures your basil temperature, but the ovulating kits are easier to use. If you are trying to conceive during ovulation and you are still not getting pregnant, there may be a reason which may be easily addressed, but only through medical intervention. Good luck to you and your boyfriend.

thank you for your advise. Have been to the docoter and he stated that the only thing that was wrong was i wasn't ovulating now that i am i should be able to get pregnant. I was mainly looking for ways that other women got pregnant. I'm looking for any advise in positions, food, or any other ways.

Well when me and my husband were trying for our first, we did the timing of my ovulation and I also used ovulation kits and then took baby aspirin 3 days after i knew that i ovulated because that helps a egg stick. Good luck with trying, I hope it happens for you two soon.

I think that you should just light some candles and have a nice night at home. Put on some music and then just do what comes naturally. I am sure that nature will take it' course. When you are ready then you will become pregnant. I don't think there is anything more you can do...just wait and hope that the more you make love the more your chances will improve.

Have you tried monitoring your ovulation yet? I think the most fertile day of a woman is 10-14 days after her last menstrual day (please correct me anyone if I'm wrong), so it's best to try conceiving during these days. Also if you have the money and time, you should see a fertility doctor to help you determine what to do for you to conceive. Good luck to you.

I had problems getting pregnant too. I was diagnosed with polycystic ovarian syndrome and underwent treatment. I was given various meds to help regulate my cycle, thicken my endometrium and induce ovulation. I suggest that you consult your ob-gyne too so that proper treatment may be recommended as it, I believe, is a case to case basis. The treatment that you should follow has to be based on your problem, if ever you have any. You may take as many advise as you get from others but it would not work if you don't know exactly ehat problem to address. Good luck!

Yes well you have to relax more when you are trying to conceive also you say that you had problems with ovulating well did you go to a doctor about this, if so did he not recommend a curet, as the doctor should of if they knew that you wanted to fall pregnant or didn't you tell them this.

The best advice I can give you is find a Natural Family Planning Counselor near you. Charting is the best way to know when you are fertile and it is the best way to help you plan a pregnancy and it can also be used for birth control.

well to be honest the best thing you can do is relax. try to stay as stress free as you can. it has been proven that when you are more relaxed you have more of a chance. dont get upset or discouraged as you tell from the last time everything happens for a reason and when the time is prefect for you it will happen. i got both of my kids cause we were bored and well it seemed like the thing to do then a few months later hey im pregnant. lol. i cant complain it might not have been the best time for me since we were not ready but after i look at the girls i know it was the right time and it was prefect cause i would not trade them for anything even though at times i think can i give them back or maybe just get a break from them ect. lol. just have fun and keep happy thoughts. good luck

I don't think there's a way that's etter than another to conceive, it's just a matter of being able to do it at the right time - there's not a lot of time!
That thing you were talking about with no ovulating is a common thing, i know heaps of people who have had this problem.
You need to work out when you are ovulating - you can also get a test thing for yourself & once your body is at a certain temperature, it's the right time. I think the best time to actually conceive is like 14 days before or after your period so i guess work out about the middle & try around then - a few days in a row - either side of the middle date!
Don't bee too worried though, sometimes not falling pregnant is also a sign from your body, telling you it's not ready coz pregnancy puts a lot of stress on the body.
Mine did that for quite a few years - after an accident my body took a long time to fix itself. My partner & i have been together almost 9 years (this month) & we only managed to have our first baby last June. Even though we'd been trying for a fair few years before that.
Good luck :)

I'm not an expert but a lot of my friends uses chinese medicine to help them concieve. Chinese medicine, cleanses the body of poison and returns all organ function back to normal. Both, the husband and wife should take the chinese medicine. It's good for the baby as well, because after the baby is born, he/she won't get some genetic conditions you or your boyfriend may have passed on. I suggets you find a well qualified Chinese medicine physician. It'll take at least 3 months to cleanse your system, but I think its worth the wait. Good luck and all the best to you.
