Which do you prefer, watch movies at the theater or at home?

i prefer movis watching at theatre rather than watching at home.the efect we get in theatre wont be there when we are at home.so i just love to watch movies at theatre.

i prefer watching movies at home with my family.i think it would be better.but if it will be with some of my friends,,i will take the theatre of course

Watching movies in the theater is much better than watching at home. Well probably if we have a complete home theather system we'll just stay at home to watch movies.

I really can't stand going to the theatre or cinema to watch movies as the seats are uncomfortable, you can't smoke, there's always someone coughing, someone taller than you sat in front of you, kids kicking you in the back. No thanks I've got surround sound at home so thats good enough for me!

Well, I do like them both. Sometimes when I feel like I want to watch movies with different athmosphere then I'll go to the cinema....especially for children movie. I love seeing my daughter face when she see a lot of other children watching the same movie in the same room with her. When I just want to relax, watching movies with my own schedule and wearing short pants while lying on the couch with a bowl of chips and set it on "pause/break" when I need to go the toilet anytime....I like doing that at home, feeling of freedom....

Well... mostly I would prefer watching movies at the theater because of the sound system. But I do have some movies which my friends didn't recommended me to watch but I felt soo curious about it.

it would depend on the movie.. if it's an action movie and those that got lots of special effects I would prefer to watch in the theaters, coz of the sound system in theaters and larger than life pictures. if it's feel good and cuddly movies, like romantic movies or sad movies, stuff like that, it would be ok to watch it at home. yah know, cuddle up with my hubby, cry on his shoulders at the sad parts and smile with him on the sweet moments, maybe kiss and cuddle without hmm..inhibitions (?? -- is that the right term, i'm not sure) since we are on our own home and we don't have to worry that other people might be watching what we're doing.

I prefer to watch all kinds of movies at home. I have Me - or chronic fatigue syndrome. At home I can have breaks in the middle of the movie, I can also lay on my sofa if I feel lie it. I do hope I will be able to go to the theater soon though. There is something so special about watching a film in the dark theater, on a big screen and with good sound and with lots of people I do not know and will probably never meet again.

I love going to the movie theater. I like the whole experince. There are some movies that I watch a few times on theaters.

it depends on the type of movie i want to watch...if its going to be a horror or action packed in which music play a very important role, i prefer watching that in theatres...when it comes to romantic and a bit slow movies, i prefer watching it at home...

If colosal movie, I prefer in theatre, the view is wide -lol- But others better at home, more relaxing to watch with family at home.

I like watching movies in theaters especially if it's a big one like Spiderman 3 or something but I agree with you. There are movies I have watched in theaters and watched at home and I realized there really are some movies that are much fun to watch at the comfort of our own homes and munch on anything we like. :)
