Normally I would be straight up on my soapbox and having a complete and utter rant, but you don't need it, I know how you feel, I had my op although small cancelled twice but at least I didn't get all the way to the hospital. Here is a big hug! I know you don't want platitudes either. A hug I think says it all x

wow am so sorry as you was all set to do this already. And now have to wait for how loHis must be a very small hospital as to not have had the rooms reserved for you as they knew y'll were coming in. Again so sorry hope you feel better aboutthis later .Prayers still with you.

How frustrating for you, what a shame. At least you that you have the support from us guys here for when you do actually go in.

How rude of them. Why couldnt they come and tel you that right away or even better call and tell you that. Instead they have you wait forever to tell you something. I am so sick of "professionals" doing this and accepting us to take this in pride. I am so sorry that you are having tpo deal with this on top of your knee pain already. I hope they get you rescheduled quickly.

Hi mommymo! How are you now? I'm sorry you still have to wait until the hospital can accomodate you for your surgery. Probably there are more people who need to be taken care of, those who have worse cases than you.

It's really terrible when that happens, having an operation can be traumatic enough, without having to have it cancelled. All too often now its all done to meet Government targets, so they schedule for the maximum number of operations they can do on the one day, then just cancel some of them if they have emergency patients brought in. However as most people get a number of tests (including blood tests) just before their operation, it must cost the hospital a lot of money if they cancel the operation, it doesn't take much common sense to see that having to cancel operations causes expense and trauma to patients, (also patients have to make arrangements - sometimes for children or animals to be looked after as well). In the hospital that I work a patient went to the loo, and found his bed had been given to someone else when he returned.

That's too bad when things like this happen. My granddaughter's surgery was postponed twice. It is ridiculous.

Hi mummymo, I know your feelings, my wife had sleepless night during her pre ops time. The sheers thought of have the knife on us would send a chill down our back. Let it be how small the surgery is. Just pray hard and have faith on your surgeon. I am sure many will pray for your speedy recover. Take a good rest and care of yourself after the surgery and come back to mylot to share your health. Oh dear, I´m really sorry that this happened to you. I can´t believe they turned you down when you were already at the hospital and on top of it made you wait to let you know. I feel like ranting and raving, but that won´t help you, so all I can say is: I hope you´re going to get a new appointment for your surgery a.s.a.p. and I will keep sending all the good vibes your way. Im truly sorry to hear this and hope all works out for you even though I dont know the full story. I have never heard anyone being turned away from the hospital here and to me thats crazy. Again sorry to hear about your situation and I truly do hope all works out for you and this operatin that you need.
