Anne sews a lot, sometimes through newspaper, cardboard (on this last project) and thick layers of cloth too. That is a lot of wear on needles. She happened to mention yesterday that she had misplaced her needle sharpener....

Priscilla King I've never put that much wear on a needle...but have on a paring knife, after 38 years. Sharpened it on tinfoil. I wouldn't have expected coffee grounds to work; now I'll have to try this.

Priscilla King People who hate cats tend to be sociopathic. Hitler was sociopathic (and also on drugs) and should only have died about twenty years earlier than he did. Living cat haters should get help before they build up to attacking humans, and definitely get themselves...

Priscilla King @sallypup Some cats do better at nursing home visitation than others. The ones who hide from visitors aren't ideal for cheering up strangers in strange places... One cat who stayed with me, about a year ago, had a natural talent for nursing home visitation....
