Anne sews a lot, sometimes through newspaper, cardboard (on this last project) and thick layers of cloth too. That is a lot of wear on needles. She happened to mention yesterday that she had misplaced her needle sharpener....

Priscilla King I've never put that much wear on a needle...but have on a paring knife, after 38 years. Sharpened it on tinfoil. I wouldn't have expected coffee grounds to work; now I'll have to try this.
