The holidays, not always a joyous occassion

Does anybody else find the holidays with an autistic child a bit fustrating? Growing up we always looked forward to holidays and birthdays. I had always thought I would see that joy and excitement through the eyes of my children....

qandamama Sign me up! One of my children is preschool age, and on the autism spectrum. My other child is almost two... So anywhere we go, it's a sideshow. And housecleaning? PAH!
