Is there a limit to how much money you can make before you have to pay taxes on it? Are survey monies considered a gift? Is it a certain limit per company or do they base it on a yearly total? I'm curious if anyone has the answer....

ranitam22 I've been doing online surveys for years and have gotten paid. The only reason they ask that information is for demographic purposes. Whatever manufacturer they're sending the survey out for will have a target group of people they want to fill out the survey....

ranitam22 They also have online focus groups where you go to a certain webpage and they have someone who runs the session and you'll get a question on the screen and as you answer, you'll see other people's answers as well that are doing the surveys from their homes...

ranitam22 The four companies you listed here are legit and I've been paid several times by all of them over several years of being a member. I don't get any spam from them, only their survey invitations. I haven't had any problem getting the money that is owed to me...

ranitam22 thank you for your response. She did end up staying with us for the weekend and was not at home alone. I just wasn't brought up to have kids home until a certain age, and she's a different case because she's ill at times. Thank you so much for your advice.
