Why is a Book Called a Book?

I have always wondered why a book is called a book? I tried asking this questions in other sites too but to my surprise no one knows it.. Any answer for this guys???

Do anyone has tried the speed reading?

I hardly finish a book in a day or a week... So I want to try speed reading.. But i don't know what school is offering a good one. But I heard about Tony Buzan Speed reading. Haven't tried it.... Does anyone try any speed reading...
