rebelann1949 There are so many things you can do with old clothes even if you can't repair them. I use mine to make pillow stuffing for my kritters.

rebelann1949 anything I can't repair can usually still be worn in the yard when I'm working outside and when that is no longer possible it becomes stuffing for kritter pillows

rebelann1949 I wear everything until it's worn out but when things are torn I don't usually wear that item out and about. Once I've worn something out it becomes stuffing for the kritter pillows and stuff.
