It was once said that cats could not be around newborns for the fact that cats takes their breath away when they are sleep. what do you all think is that true or false.

reverend_zombie well, Yeah. cats will sleep on your baby's faces. not all cats, or maybe it didn't happen to you. I think maybe you should just.. like.. not risk it and keep them separate. i don't want to lose my child, for a comfortable place for the cat.
