Rogelio @enlightenedpsych2 I should have said "causes more damage," yes, thunder sounds at more than 120 decibels and it can be detrimental but not more than the electrical discharge that can run to million volts in a millisecond.

Rogelio Piece of advice, it is lightning that causes damage not the sound. When lightning starts check out the landscape if you are vulnerable. If not, then relax and enjoy the show.

Rogelio Evac centers can become crowded and too noisy, more danger than being in a private hideaway. I may go there to get rations but I hate to stay in one.

Rogelio I can't, no thanks. It burns my skin, hurts my eyes, but at least it dries laundries and grains for milling. Dries the fields where I enjoy roaming too.
