Using proxy IP address..

Can a proxy IP address improve your internet speed? I am having trouble with the speed of my connection, I was wondering if using a Proxy IP add will somehow solve my problem... Any suggestions anyone?

ronaldinu I would check my internet speed. http://www.speedtest.net/ so you can check whether you are getting what you are paying for I would seek another ISP if you are still having bad connection
