rstar11 K-Lite codec pack is good but it doesn't play .mov files. I have to install a separate codec pack just to play those .mov files. Plus I don't like the look of the classic Windows player it's bundled with. And sometime the player crashes. I hope they do...

rstar11 I use ESET NOD32. It's fast, uses less system resource and it works. It almost has everything: firewall, anti-spam, ant-virus and anti-spyware. Everything you need in one package. Need to say more?

rstar11 My internet connection speed is 750kbps. I can download stuffs at 100kBps but sometimes faster. But my average download speed is 50kBps. According to speedtest.net, my download speed is 850kbps and my upload speed is 450kbps.

rstar11 I'll go with desktop. Because it is easier to customize specially the videocard. With applications being more graphic hungry, an upgrade is necessary. With desktop, I have the freedom to put anything that I want. Laptop's expansion is very limited.
