Is AVG free Anti Virus software worth downloading?

Have any of you guys downloaded the free AVG Anti-Virus software? Does it seem to be a good product, worthy of downloading and installing or just more junk to clog up the computer?

rye8989668 I totally agree! AVG can't catch everything unlike ESET NOD32. I have been using this since 2005.
