how to convert to NTFS from fat32

i want to convert my file system to ntfs. I have windows xp installed on my c drive. I also want to set permissions so that only am capable to access specific files. Is it possible to convert without reinstalling windows xp?

sandipdey2 So you want to convert from FAT to NTFS.Ya it is tough but not impossible.It seems you are very intelligent and love fiddling with computers.Under normal circumstances I would advise you to reinstall windows xp,backup using registry easy. If you are curious...
