Dos , Vista or Xp

Hey ! I want to assemble a system . For that I m having several options for the operating systems . Either Dos , Vista or XP . I am bit confused to which one I go for . Can anyone tell me the good option out of it.

sebrichards For a stable operating system, I'd go for Windows XP. Vista is known to be buggy with quite a bit of software. Also, let's face it: Vista is Microsoft's alternative to Apple's creamy looking GUI's.
