Are parents nowadays too permissive with their children?

These years there has been a noticeable trend away from many forms of discipline within the family. I feel that parents are too permissive with their children. Many children are spoiled. What do you think about it?

My boyfriend told me that he loves me and asked me to be his girlfriend in the playground when we were in high school. He was so nervou that his voice was slightly slurred. The shy boy blushed when I agreed to be his girlfriend!...
