why do Rottweilers get their tails cut off?

So why? I also notice some other races. Why do they get it done? Just for the look?

shanker69 First of all they cut rotty tails because they are a working bog breed and it was intended to identify that. In a nut shell that's the way the breed was introduced. People like myself believe that the breed does look better with their tail cut and that's why...
