Is Mandarin the common language of China?

Hi guys, I am really in a fix whether mandarin is the language that is spoken commonly in china?If not which is the language of china??

sherrylovelibra of course ,mandarin is the common language of China ,it is the official language of China. but most places of China ,there are dialects.every zone has its dialect for example:london and wales,do you agree?

sherrylovelibra haha ,I think in china ,people can cook chinese food easily,and some of them are very cheap.not all chinese food are high quality ,and need many procedures. I'm a chinese ,and my hubby love my cooking,I cook everyday ,I think it's easy.
