Is Chili in the summer weird?

Ok I have been craving homemade chili for the past week. I bought the stuff to make it and have it cooking now. I know chili is more of a cold weather type food but really it is good all year round especially if it is homemade....

Here's a shot of a few of the tomatoes I got from my yard here in Minnesota Friday afternoon. dad & I each had a big one as a snack after lunch. Plain with a little salt for me and no salt on dads. These will be eaten Saturday...
