Loss of a child

Today my son would have been 14 years old. 2 days ago was the anniversary of his death at the age of two. Has anyone else on here lost a child and understand how I feel today?

sianny Mine would be smoking too. The only thing that ever worked was hypnotherapy. That lasted 9 months till an emotional crisis persuaded me to start again.

sianny Bath - because I haven't got one. I live on a boat and have 2 showers. Just been to Brighton for the weekend and the priority in the hotel was a bath. Had 3 in 24 hours!!!

The most gentle type of dog you could have. Like a little baby, has to be pampered all the time, and wants to be spoon fed. A useless guard dog but no match for unconditional love.

sianny I have the most loyal and loving yellow labrador. She'd been badly treated when I got her. She didn't even look like a labrador. But over the next few weeks with love, care, and lots of visits to the vet she became the most beautiful dog. I can't begin to tell...

sianny I went to Italy sking when I was 15. Then I went back last July when I drove back from Corfu to the UK. Loved it. The Italian Alps are fantastic. Stayed in Bossanna del Grappo on my way through.

sianny Mine does too. She stares at me then comes over and nuzzles me. Just wants to let me know she knows I'm sad and wants to cheer me up. It's lovely.
