SjanineS Hi, I am currently playing on Polished Chrome, Pearl EX825 Export Drums, Pearl hardware and vary between Zildjian and Vic Firth sticks...I can`t say I take any drum-parts with me everywhere I go, but I do have the beats in my head lol!

Which is better to play with, "heel up" or "heel down"?

i'm okay playing "heel up", but "heel down" seems more solid with more stress. if anyone could assist with some bass drum drills i would appreciate it very much.

SjanineS I definitely prefer heal up. It gives me more speed and "tightness", especially when it comes to fast and double-kicks. Playing with the heal down in my opinion makes for sloppiness and slow response..and a stiff foot ;)

SjanineS I have a 1 snare,1 kickdrum,3 toms,2 Crash, 1 ride and hi-hats ;)...and a chair! Would love another floor tom and a snare though.
