How to use body butter?

I know this is sounds so stupid. But I had to ask, coz I really don't know how to use body butter. I never buy any, but my friend five me a pack of body butter. They smells really good (fruity) but, I don't know how to use them....

suzie2 Hi my name is sue bodybutter is for the shower, you wash yourself with it like soap. bodylotion is for after the shower.
