taipingonline traditional islamic? What are you talking about? Islam is one. There are no tradisional or modern islamic! Musims live with the Koran and the Koran never change! So, how come there is a tradisional islamic? Read the Koran after this and come back to this...

taipingonline wait...wait...wait... I think, I wanna add some more information to my comment. In Islam, you're right... a man can have maximum 4 wives. However, there are some guides in the Koran which the man should follow before he gets marry to another one.
