lilybug My parents got theirs over 30 years ago and at the time it was around $500. I can imagine how much that same clock would cost today.

ersmommy1 No.I don't. But a good friend of mine does.I don't think I would own one. The ring of time as it goes by can be distracting. They are beautiful clocks to look at. But according to my friend can be expensive.

kishusia Yes, I let my daughters play in the rain. But it is not a regular practice, and they play in the house. Mostly it is the first rain of summer when rain is long awaited.

Danesmommy I let my son go out and play in the rain, as long as it's not pouring and it's not a thunderstorm. I little rainshower never hurt anyone.

youless Perhaps I am too careful in this aspect. And it may sound like I overprotect my child. But I won't let him play in the rain as I am afraid he will get sick. When he is sick, I feel so bad. I prefer I suffer the disease for him. There is only one exception....

mflower2053 If its not lighting then I wouldn't mind them playing in the rain. My husband took my 2 year old out in the rain once b/c she said she wanted to play in the rain. They had fun running around our yard. She thought it was so funny.

susanh39 My children love to play in the rain. We allow it as long as there isn't any thunder or lightning and it is pretty warm outside. They have a blast!
