How to promote a website?

I have a website for someting, but I found it was hard to attract some traffic in the past three monthes. I feel it is very difficult to promote one website when the websites become more and more.

taofei78 I think you can go to the relevent forum to promote!For example, you can put your site into the signature column,or purchase others'signature column!
