It isn't called the hunger diet because you go hungry, but because that is when you eat. What I do when I need to lose weight is control my portion sizes. I only eat when I feel hungry, NOT when I'm bored or have nothing else...

taylorpelto Very, very well said. Recently I developed a bit of the flu, and I went several days without really eating or feeling hungry. I don't think this is a bad thing at all. My body just didn't need it at the time.

taylorpelto Which is what most people do nowadays. I'm sure scheduled meals would be alright, but thinking back to Grandma's 3 squares a day, sometimes too much food is just too much food.
