suspenseful I would go for it, but first do you have enough education so that you can answer some of his questions? That would be the only thing and you could get the material to do this. It appears that perhaps your son feels that he would be easily distracted or there...

darkaeon i dont know much about home schooling but i wont home school with my son because he would become lazy and wouldnt like to get classes and would be in the street playing and not studying... good luck for you to home schooling!

Grammasherri I know how it is to be motivated by the cooler weather. I do cook alot in the autumn and wintertime. I am making chocolate zuchinni bread tomorrow. Time to fill the freezer.

lightningMD I cook and bake more in the cooler months also. Part of the reason is because we seem to be home more once school starts. I love to make soups and stews in the winter. There is just something so cozy about a hot bowl of chili.

soccermom LOL! Me too! There's something about fall and "comfort food" that makes me fall in love with my kitchen again. I have a turkey breast in the oven right now, we're gonna slice it for sandwiches, make some other things to nibble and settle in for some football...

Thoroughrob I do like cooking on the grill the best, but the only time we do that is when we are camping, as the grill stays at the campground. There is definitely less cleanup.

nyumix I think I prefer to use oven for cooking. Since I have two little children who always running around, I don't think grilling is a good idea for me to cook. It can be very dangerous for them. That's what I think. Oven is more simple for me at this time.

writersedge That is a cool picture and a really neat idea. All my socks start out white and end up really awful looking. Those socks would make good stuffings. Maybe I could find some cheap ones that have color to make the outside. I also have some old foam from pillows...

sunshine4 YOu have to get a nesco cooker. ONce you do, you will never use your crockpot again. They are wonderful. They can be used as a slow cooker or also a regular cooker. I have 2 and use them all the time:)

cotruelove I have an idea how to change it, wait until the next school board election and talk to the candidates. Let them know how you feel about it and if possible take them a signed petition from neighbors, other parents, etc. Nothing like having a voter demand...

tanaclark I prefer the grill. It's alot easier to clean and I love the taste of grilled meat. We also love being outside so grilling is convenient for us.
