Gigglygrrl As a teacher I would quit any position where I was required to administer corporal punishment. There are still places in the US that allow CP but they are few and far between.

edigital No girls should not beaten by teacher in a class where co-education exist. Equal right do not mean all work you will share with female example: you cannot be pregnant but girl can. So think wisely about equal right.

cowgirl2701 Where are you? In the United States it is against the law for a teacher to touch any student. Beating children teaches them nothing but violence. Teachers here would be arrested and prosecuted if they beat any student, male or female.

goldjay I don't think anyone should be beaten by teachers. I don't think it is the teacher's place to beat a child. There are so many other ways to discipline a child so I would say to figure out something else. I think boys and girls should be treated equally for...
