Should you adopt or have your own children?

I've always said that I wanted to adopt children instead of having my own. I just always felt that there were plenty of children in the world who were already without parents, that I didn't need to bring any more into the world....

I have a terrible time telling anyone when I'm upset. I worry so much about causing an argument or upsetting the other person that I usually just keep everything to myself. In the end, it usually gets overheard or I just blow up...

I read Jody Piccoult's My Sister's Keeper last year and really enjoyed it. It was very moving and heart breaking at the same time. Has anyone else read it and what do you think about it? Has anyone read any of her other books?...
