Is there bus in the United States?

I know that bus has a long history in London, but I don't know if there is bus in the United States. I know Americans travel by car, by air or by coach, but I don't know if there is bus or subway in cities of the United State.

which windows system do you perfer, vista or XP

i buy a laptop last month. it install windows vista system. i am accustomed in xp and its compatibility is bad. it can't work with vc++ which is needed in my course. i want change it to xp but i don't know how to do it.
