I am using kaspersky 8.0, how to disable this, I am getting the error when i am upgrading the xp sp3.

xancer Disabling the protection from kaspersky can be made by changing its settings. All you have to do is just go to Settings - Protection and unchecked the box which shows Enable Protection.

xancer I would say that there is no good free antivirus program. AVG 8.0 Free Edition is having so much problem in detecting viruses in your computer. Their slow detection is one of the problem that you may experience and it is troublesome if you are a kind of person...
