youdontsay I do feel sad for my nation that we have come to this kind of behavior. It astonishes me that leaders fuel the fires of hate and fear.

youdontsay Hope you are right that a few days will see folks cooling down. I'm not convinced that people are really that far apart in their ideas but they are so emotionally invested in "winning" or whatever that they can't see what they have in common!

youdontsay I'm trying to learn about Farmville. I can't figure out why it says I have over two thousand coins but says I don't have enough to make a ten coin purchase! Yep, I like the connection to family in friends.

youdontsay I hear that! It can gobble up huge chunks of time that would be better spent on something productive. I do like being more connected with my family, who all live out of state from me.

youdontsay Agreed! I hadn't thought about the cost of health care premiums. In so many instances they go to countries with no or little health care and the companies don't seem to care that their employees lack the benefits.

youdontsay Globalization need not be the problem if we insist on raising the quality of life in third world countries. When no one is starving there would not be an issue of survival but of equity. There seems to be less and less integrity in the business world....

youdontsay I, too, try to buy American made products. It gets harder and harder to find them, however. We need to be more informed consumers, refusing to buy products that are made by sweatshops and foreign employees paid next to nothing.
