Patni computers has been taken over by iGate solutions for $1.22 billion. iGate into itself is a $300 million company and has lent $700 million from Royal Bank of Canada for the take over. Isn't that amazing ?

zahir_dk Hahahaha Peter. well both are India based IT companies and Patni ranked 7th in the top IT companies in India. Not sure if any1 would want to take you over :)

zahir_dk Right but I even checked it in CES2011 and it seems that the phones are gonna be launched soon. I am eager to purchase a phone now and cant wait more but at the same time, if 2Ghz comes in the market I will be stuck with 1Ghz that I purchase.

zahir_dk Thanks for your reply. Agreed with you. The problem is when a person needs a smartphone he looks for everything into it, right from its OS to making calls easily using it. there are lots of handsets in the market but the one's which are loaded with everything...

zahir_dk Right Pucca. I have been looking for either Dell Streak or HTC Desire HD and both are highly priced currently. If I wait for a couple of months and a new processor gets launched, it will definitely come down.

zahir_dk Right Peter. gig's will keep increasing surely and so the price. the main confusion is what to buy, when to buy n for how much... this is running me insane... I have been waiting since a couple of months to come on a decision now.

zahir_dk I did not see any advt below the discussion yet... bt yes sure they earn thru advt... basically when u login to myLot it displays a lots of advts which u can skip too. So my guess is they earn using those advt's.

zahir_dk Yes Mudassar. Ofcourse you can as in that case the website will be deployed on GoDaddy's servers and not your machine.
