Sims 3 worth it?

I'm not sure if I should buy Sims 3, I have sims 2, and I'm hoping for more updated clothing and furniture. Does Sims 3 have what I'm wishing for? And what good perks do you like about sims 3?

AssassinsCreed37 When you have the sims 2, you dont need the sims 3. there are more negative things than positive. when you want, you can google. the sims 2 was better A LOT!

AssassinsCreed37 i think you shouldn't say something about the things that you have in your house/flat. When they(I dont know how) know where you live they can rob your expensive things.
