Bhlue125 I agree...if the community continues to turn the other cheek, then all they are doing is giving the youngsters is practice for more brutal crimes.

Bhlue125 Oh yes, the Mayfair Witches and the Vampire Chronicles are both excellent series. I have read the Witching Hour three times now...I still love it! Thanks for the post :)

Bhlue125 Great! I love Sagas...Check out Sara Douglass Wayfarer Redemption (there are six books in total, but the first three have got to be the best. The sixth book has a very anti-climactic ending, but the story is still really good.)

Bhlue125 I read somewhere that people's overall success is tied with their name and the more common the name, the more successful they will be. I would go with a common name like Karen, even though it has been ruled out by y'all :)

How do you help someone work through a rape? I mean they refuse to get help?

Bhlue125 i also have not basis for comparison. Any traumatic event must be approached carefully, and pushing for answers will drive them away. I think the best thing to do, is to be a friend and that will lead to them confiding in you
