What is more important in a Relationship, to be Loved or Understood?

I've been going crazy to decide over this, and even discussed with some of my friends, there's no result or what so ever. Hope to understand Relationship more. What do you think? And Why?

BuenAmigo very interesting point of view, but what if someone loves you but doesn't understands you? wouldn't there be problem in the near future as the time goes on?
