CatAnna It clips to the tray holding the keyboard and the light is at the end of a very flexible plastic-over-wire gooseneck that's about 8" long. It lights up most of the keyboard if I am it right.

CatAnna I bought a small clip on LED light that shines only on the keyboard and I love it... when it's working. It was cheap... only $3... but the batteries don't last very long and I think new batteries would cost as much as a new light. So I bought half dozen...
