How to dispose old electronic goods?

They are out of fashion and are not in working condition too. I am speaking about those transistor radios, walkman tapes, cassette players and tape recorders. Repairing them will cost much and keeping them as such, occupies space....

Divyamanjunath If they are out dated and if they are working i do charity of old tape recorders. May be we have a new model once but there must be many who dont have them at all or dont have money to buy them. They can use them.
