How many marriages that never end in divorce experience an infidelity?

I am wondering how many of the marriages that last a life time, have had to work through an infidelity, is this something that has happened at least once in most life long marriages?

I have a really good female friend of mine that is trapped in an abusive, controlling, relationship. He used to be a good friend of mine however since he has become abusive and controlling I have dealt with him for her sake only....

Hkhan1 Getting into another relationship really eases the pain of lossing someone you loved but the baggage and issues eventually follows you. Try to heal and resolve any issues that might affect other relationships you would have. example why you broke up.
